Grease or oil on the cylinders posses a safety hazard, especially if they are oxygen cylinders.  No we cannot fill them if there is grease or oil on any of the cylinders.  Our drivers are instructed to not pick up cylinders with grease, oil, gasoline or excessive mud/feces.

We cannot risk cross contamination into the oxygen filling area; grease or oil can ignite on contact with pure oxygen.  Being a medical filling facility, the mud/feces is more for sanitary reasons than safety.
